Project Description

The Business Experience Platform (BXP) has successfully launched its minimum viable product (MVP), establishing the core digital foundation for a simpler and more consistent way for businesses to access government services. The next phase will expand BXP and onboard additional government services, building on the successful MVP launch, therefore a Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist plans and performs functional, integration, regression, accessibility, and other quality assurance activities needed to support release readiness.

Must Haves

• Experience planning and executing end-to-end testing for complex digital solutions.
• Experience with functional, integration, system, regression, accessibility, performance, and acceptance testing.
• Experience automating UI, API, service, or database tests.
• Experience testing cloud applications, microservices, and system integrations.
• Ability to coordinate business and technical teams during testing and defect resolution.

• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, schedules, scenarios, scripts, data, and reports.

General Skills / Duties

• Define and maintain test strategies, plans, schedules, scenarios, scripts, data, and reports.
• Coordinate test environments, accounts, tools, data, and supporting resources.
• Maintain requirements traceability and test-coverage reporting.
• Lead defect triage and monitor defects through resolution and closure.
• Validate accessibility, security, performance, reliability, and integration requirements.
• Report quality indicators, testing progress, outstanding defects, and release risks.

Deliverables

• Provide evidence-based recommendations on production readiness.

Defect Management and Quality Reporting - 25%

• Experience managing defects, traceability, coverage, metrics, and release-readiness assessments.
