GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring — Special Response Security Officers

GardaWorld is seeking dependable, disciplined, adaptable, and response-ready security professionals for a high-availability SRO position.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in security, military, law enforcement, corrections, emergency response, fire/EMS, patrol, dispatch, or other 24/7 operational environments.

What You'll Do

• Conduct mobile and foot patrols

• Respond to alarms, incidents, disturbances, and calls for service

• Monitor facilities, access points, and surrounding areas

• Identify and report suspicious or unauthorized activity

• Control access and verify credentials

• Provide security during emergencies, special events, and changing operational conditions

• Communicate with supervisors, dispatch, clients, and emergency personnel

• Complete detailed incident and activity reports

• Follow post orders, company policies, and emergency procedures

• Protect people, property, and client assets

• Adapt quickly to changing assignments and priorities

Schedule & Availability

This is a high-availability, 24/7 response position — not a traditional Monday–Friday role.

Candidates must be willing to work:

• Days, nights, and overnight shifts

• Weekends and holidays

• Overtime and extended shifts

• Rotating or changing schedules

• Short-notice or emergency coverage

• Multiple locations or assignments

Experience in 24/7 operations, military, law enforcement, corrections, emergency services, hospital security, critical infrastructure, or other high-readiness environments is strongly encouraged.

Preferred Experience

3–4 years of relevant experience strongly preferred , including:

• Security / Mobile Patrol

• Military / Armed Forces

• Law Enforcement

• Corrections

• Emergency Response / Fire/EMS

• Hospital or Campus Security

• Critical Infrastructure

• Dispatch / Security Operations

• Loss Prevention

• Other high-availability response positions

Military and first-responder experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred

• 3–4 years strongly preferred

• 21+ years of age

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Ability to pass required screening and background checks

• CLEET license preferred or ability to obtain one

• Strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

• Strong judgment, reliability, and attendance

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and varying schedules
