Coming to Downtown Miami this Fall, Maze Lounge brings an unparalleled combination of premier nightlife-driven hospitality, elevated cocktail programming, entertainment, and cuisine. Maze Lounge is looking for a seasoned Door Manager with the following experience and skills:

• 3 years of experience as a Door Manager or VIP Manager working in upscale and high-volume nightclubs
• Additional experience working in upscale restaurants, bars, hotels and/or events
• Proven record of success generating revenue via table sales or private rooms sales
• Proven record of success reaching sales targets
• Access to a wide and highly qualified local and international clientele database
• Experience supporting different marketing channels (public relations, social media, events promotion)
• Experience dealing with guests at the door
• Experience in conflict resolution
• Experience directing reception and security teams
• Experience managing people based on fundamentals of labor laws and motivational leadership
• Tech savviness to be able to operate different technology platforms
• Excellent communication skills in English, and preferably, working knowledge of Spanish or another language

Job requirements :

• Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shifts
• Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb and carry objects as necessary
• Must be able to work in a fast pace and high-volume environment, in the presence of areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, dancing, bright lights, sun, rain and dust
