We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Driver - Last Mile Delivery to join our dynamic logistics team! In this vital role, you will be the face of our company, delivering packages efficiently and safely to customers’ doorsteps utilizing white gloves or basic delivery services. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent customer service will ensure timely deliveries and satisfied clients.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor trailers or box trucks for last mile deliveries, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT standards.
• Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices; Driver helpers assigned.
• Plan optimal delivery routes using mobile devices or GPS tools to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
• Interact professionally with customers during delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for each trip, including proof of delivery
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including material handling and moving inventory within the facility

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with warehouse experience or commercial driving background
• Valid CDL A/B or qualifying driver’s license for 26ft box truck with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is a plus
• Ability to operate commercial trucks, box trucks, or other vehicles safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, manual handling, heavy lifting, and use of material handling equipment such as pallet jacks
• Knowledge of DOT regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and safe lifting practices
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communication during deliveries
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to lift, move, and safely deliver furniture, appliances, or other items weighing at least 80-100 lbs.
